JMC Organization
Japan Marina Company Limited (JMC) was established in September 1969 By Hideaki Yoshihara with paid-up capital of 9 million yen. Before that time, he headed the Export Department of Anritsu Electronic Works Ltd. (AEW), then radar manufacturing division of Anritsu Corporation. He was responsible for the first export of Anritsu radars to the United States under the Kelvin Hughes brand and Europe under Anritsu own brand.
JMC, presently located at 36-2-1001 Udagawacho, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, sells Japanese-made marine electronics products mainly in overseas market under the JMC brand. Today, JMC manufactures products and systems including wheel mark approved equipments for all sizes and types of commercial fishing ships and merchant marine vessels. JMC funds the development projects and holds the ownership of all molding tools and copyrights on designs, hardware and software.
In order to supervise product quality, service the products sold, and provide technical assistance to overseas customers, JMC employs engineers on a full-time bases.
